Cats.ie was founded in Dublin in 2025 by a small team of cat enthusiasts who saw a big gap:

That means no misleading ads, no underage kittens, no illegal sales, and zero tolerance for neglect or mistreatment. Our moderation team reviews listings and works closely with rescues and users to ensure Cats.ie remains a safe, fair, and compassionate space for everyone.
