At Cats.ie, we believe that every cat lover — and every visitor — should be able to enjoy our website easily and comfortably, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance.

  • Skip-to-content links for screen readers.
  • Forms and alerts coded for screen reader accessibility.

We continually review the site with automated and manual accessibility testing tools to maintain these standards.

3. Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is not a one-time task — it’s a continuous process.

We regularly:

  • Test new features and updates before release.
  • Collect feedback from users and accessibility testers.
  • Monitor compliance using WAVE, axe DevTools, and Lighthouse tools.
  • Collaborate with accessibility consultants during major upgrades.

4. Non-Accessible Content

While we strive for full compliance, certain legacy or third-party features may temporarily not
meet full WCAG 2.1 AA standards, such as:
