Each ad runs for 30 days. You can renew or boost it anytime from your dashboard.
Yes. You can edit, pause, or delete any ad in your account dashboard at any time.
Ads may be paused or rejected if:
• The cat appears too young (under 8 weeks).
• Missing or incorrect health info.
• Photos don’t match the description.
• The listing breaks welfare or advertising rules.
You’ll receive an email explaining why, with an option to fix and resubmit.
You can either:
• Paste a YouTube/Vimeo link, or
• Upload directly (max 100MB).
The upload process is optimised to be quick and mobile-friendly

Cats.ie uses Stripe and PayPal (via WooCommerce).
We never store card details ourselves. Refunds are automatic if your ad is declined during moderation.
Breeders can pay €14.99/month for unlimited standard listings, with discounted upgrades
(Featured, Premium, Boost).
Subscriptions renew automatically but can be cancelled anytime.
No — Cats.ie is operated by MEOWOOF LIMITED, which is not in the VAT system.
All prices shown are final.

Kittens must be at least 8 weeks old before leaving their mother.
Cats.ie will automatically block listings with younger DOBs.
cat or kitten listing must clearly state:
• Vaccination status
• Neutering/spaying
• Testing (e.g., FIV/FeLV, if applicable)
• Microchip number (optional but encouraged)
Breeders selling 6 or more pets per year must register as a Registered Seller of Pets with the
Department of Agriculture (DAFM). Cats.ie encourages all breeders to declare their registration and organisation affiliation (TICA, GCCFI, GCCF, FIFe, WCF).
No. It’s against Irish welfare rules and Cats.ie’s terms. Only Cats.ie-approved charity or educational campaigns may feature cats in promotions.

Go to CatAlert → “Post Lost” or “Post Found.” Add details, upload photos, and share across social media or print a poster. CatAlert listings are always free and last for 30 days.

Your alert will update sitewide automatically.
